Brandon and I appreciate everything you did to help us with not only the roof but the other issues as well. I did not expect to be taking on such an extensive project at this time and certainly not at once but I am so happy that we are going to have the additional work done. I would not have felt comfortable making all this happen on my own-especially understanding what needed to happen and finding the right people to do it. Our roof looks great and I can't wait to see what the final product will be once the siding is finished. It feels like I started with a new roof but I'm ending up with a new house! From Despair to Happiness
We have a custom built home that is just over six years old with a Presidential shingle roof that was supposedly guaranteed for a lifetime. Needless to say, guarantees unfortunately do not exist when the roof is installed incorrectly and the builder ignores calls for help. Luckily, we found Kenny and Sandra and they immediately visited our place to help alleviate our concerns. With six different leaks, the repair required a full roof replacement including repairs to some of the sheathing but Kenny never wavered with the challenge. At many times during the replacement, I questioned whether Kenny and Sandra would want to continue as the project seemed to get more difficult with each coming day. However both Kenny and Sandra stood behind their word and kept emphasizing they would see the project completed to the end. Needless to say, it was a great relief to know that I found an honorable contractor which appears rare these days. The team stayed in contact very well and had enormous respect for our home being very careful around our gutters and cleaning up nightly. I cannot thank them enough for our new roof and am looking forward to many leak free years to come.

The shingles on my roof were severely damaged by a recent storm, and I knew I needed a new roof. I went to the Better Business Bureau website to find "A+" rated roofing contractors. Hawaiian Built Roofing weren't going to offer another "band aid" fix...
I can't thank Hawaiian Built Roofing enough! My home (and roof) is only 5 years old, but water was leaking in like a faucet every time it rained or snowed. For months, various professionals and even my insurance company, inspected and attempted "repairs", resulting in the leak only getting worse. Finally my dining room had seen enough water for the sheetrock to fall down and the floor to buckle resulting in a substantial and frustrating homeowners claim.
Luckily I found out about Hawaiian Built from a recommendation and Sandra and Kenny were all over it. That same afternoon they had found the leak and gave me an estimate. It was evident right away they weren't going to offer another "band aid" fix, and explained how it should have been constructed to start with. I gave them the go, and literally within 2 days they fixed my roof the right way, on top of meeting with my insurance adjuster and providing pictures and documentation.
It has rained like crazy for over a week and my house is DRY - save your self all the frustrations and just get it done right the first time, call Sandra and Kenny!

I would highly recommend "Hawaiian Built Roofing". When I was getting estimates for having my roof re-done, I initially felt like a number, a single woman, with a tiny house, tiny job, "wham, bam, here's your estimate, thanks, call when you're ready."

I live in Nebraska and when my duplex desperately needed roof repair, I was lucky enough to find Hawaiian Built roofing on the internet. I sent an e-mail and the very next day I had a response complete with a photoessay of the roof problems. They were efficient, professional, and their completed job was excellent. There were some problems along the way, weather, truck break-down, and electrical outage. All of these were communicated to me and handled professionally and courteously. Fantastic, Timely and Reasonably Priced...
Aside from completing a fantastic, timely, and reasonably priced job on our roof, Hawaiian Built Roofing also helped us out by bringing to our attention problems with or soffit/fascia and gutters that had been installed incorrectly. We had siding & windows installed two years before our new roof, and apparently the soffit/fascia and gutters were not installed properly as our gutters were already starting to come loose at the front of our house. The problem would have turned into a nightmare down the road had Kenny not brought it to our attention. He also helped us get the problems fixed by talking with the company that installed our soffit/fascia and gutters. They went above and beyond what we expected of them, and we appreciate their integrity.

Layers of Old Roofing Material, Holes, Gaps and Rotten Wood...
Our house was abused by too many poorly done do-it-yourself projects. We discovered most of the damage after buying it, and with Sandra's and Kenny's help we are on our way to restoring it. A year ago Hawaiian Built Roofing was recommended to my cousin for a re-roof on their home. Their roof also had a real problem where three sections came together. Kenny did a magnificent job pulling it all together. The roof looks wonderful
Last July my house was hit with ping-pong ball sized hail. It severely damaged my roof. The adjuster said it was a total loss.
I contacted Hawaiian Built Roofing for a bid (they didn't need a recommendation). I accepted their bid and entered into contract with them to tear off the old shake, sheet and dry-sheet my roof and install Architectural 30-year shingles. This job was completed in a timely manner. Their workmanship is far above excellent. They work well with and strive to make their customers happy.
