Kenny(55) is currently the owner and VIP of Operations within the company. He started roofing when he was freshly 18 in the state of Hawaii. He was searching for jobs and found an abundance of ads for a roofer. He found a passion and a love for being able to help people with problems he knows how to fix! After some years in Hawaii, he found himself in Idaho, the roofing trade in Idaho, is very different than Hawaii. He got the idea to start a business with his wife 18 years ago, we now know it as Hawaiian Built Roofing. Starting the business with 4 kids & a wife to provide for proved to be a challenge, but one that Kenny was sure he could accept!
Fast forward to the present, Kenny now has two of his 4 kids working full time within the company. He describes having his kids in the business as a “privilege.” “I love that my kids found a passion & love for the same things I do. It’s amazing to think I will one day pass this legacy to my children, & Grandchildren. I knew it would be awesome, but I didn’t think it would be as fulfilling as it is.” – Kenny.
